Landscape Irrigation CAD Designer

Landscape & Irrigation CAD Designer Compensation: USD $1,500 to $1,700 per month Location: Fully remote
Higher Options is hiring a technical and detail-oriented Landscape & Irrigation CAD Designer to support U.S.-based landscape design projects remotely.This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in landscape design, irrigation plans, AutoCAD drafting, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, able to work independently, and comfortable collaborating with a remote team to complete accurate landscape and irrigation documentation.This position will focus on creating irrigation plans and layouts, revising landscape plans, turning around redlines in a timely manner, and supporting technical project documentation for commercial, planning, and landscape design projects.
What you’ll do:Create irrigation plans and layouts for landscape design projectsRevise landscape plans based on feedback, markups, and redlinesTurn around redlines accurately and in a timely mannerSupport landscape design documentation and technical draftingCollaborate with internal teams to ensure project objectives are metCoordinate with designers, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholdersMaintain organized project documentation, including plans, specifications, and correspondenceManage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlinesCommunicate design concepts, project updates, and technical information clearlyPrepare and support presentations that communicate design intent, solutions, and project progressIdentify and resolve design or project-related challenges with creativity and efficiencyContribute to a positive, collaborative, and fast-paced team environment
What we’re looking for:Minimum 4 years of professional experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, drafting, architecture, or a related technical fieldStrong experience creating irrigation plans, layouts, and technical landscape documentationStrong AutoCAD skillsExperience revising landscape plans and working from redlinesStrong coordination and communication skillsAbility to work independently while also collaborating with a teamExcellent organization and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectivelyExperience with large-scale planning or commercial projects is preferredAbility to communicate clearly with clients, team members, and stakeholdersProblem-solving mindset and ability to complete technical irrigation projects with the teamProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design tools is a plusExperience with Land F/X is a strong plus
Compensation: USD $1,500 to $1,700 per month Location: Fully remote Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Paid time off: Often includes national holidays and paid vacation days, depending on the client.
