SepLaw has also expanded into corporate, transactional, and entertainment law, providing a broad platform for professional growth and exposure to diverse legal matters.Role Description The Law Clerk will support attorneys with legal research, analysis, and drafting across various practice areas, with a focus on dispute resolution, arbitration, and cross-border matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing case files, preparing memoranda, assisting with legal document preparation and filings, and organizing supporting evidence and exhibits. The role also involves drafting and proofreading correspondence, supporting due diligence for corporate and transactional work, and helping prepare presentations or summaries for internal and client use. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area, with a combination of on-site work at the firm’s offices and some work-from-home flexibility.Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with interest in areas such as arbitration, litigation, and corporate or transactional matters.Ability to perform thorough Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing pleadings, contracts, and legal correspondence.Excellent Research skills for case law, statutes, regulations, and doctrinal sources in both domestic and cross-border contexts.Clear and precise Writing and Communication skills for preparing memoranda, reports, and client-ready documents.Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a law program; strong academic record preferred.High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Professional fluency in Spanish; proficiency in English (written and spoken) is highly desirable.Comfort with legal research tools and standard office software; prior law firm or legal internship experience is a plus.
