Legal Assistant Paralegal Personal Injury

McGarry Law Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support personal injury cases throughout the pre-litigation and litigation process. This role requires someone who can manage multiple cases, maintain accurate documentation, communicate professionally with clients and insurance companies, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOpen and organize new personal injury claims and case files.Request and track medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents.Prepare and organize demand packages using established templates.Follow up with insurance companies, medical providers, and clients regarding outstanding items.Maintain accurate case records and ensure files remain organized and up to date.Support attorneys with pre-litigation and litigation activities.Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.Adhere to firm processes, procedures, and confidentiality standards.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar legal support role.Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).Fluent Spanish proficiency.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.Experience drafting legal documents and managing case-related documentation.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.High level of professionalism and confidentiality.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting personal injury cases.Experience with pre-litigation and/or litigation support.Previous experience working with U.S.-based law firms or clients is a plus.Familiarity with insurance claims processes and legal case management.
