About the role
Giantsage is looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager to support a growing fintech and consumer finance business in Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Manage SOFOM legal matters, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with CNBV and CONDUSEF.
- Oversee lending, collections, AML/CTF and consumer protection compliance.
- Handle contracts, data privacy and external legal counsel.
- Support regulatory matters and compliance coordination with international headquarters.
Requirements
- Mexican Law degree and valid Cédula Profesional.
- Valid CNBV PLD/FT (AML/CTF) Compliance Officer Certification is mandatory. Candidates without a currently valid certification will not be considered.
- 5–10 years of relevant legal or compliance experience.
- Direct experience in consumer finance, credit, SOFOMs or collections.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican financial regulations.
- Fluent Spanish and professional English.
