About the role

Primerica is hiring a part-time Life Insurance Specialist. The role involves identifying and qualifying prospects, presenting appropriate life insurance solutions, and supporting clients through the application and underwriting process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs-based assessments, explain product features and benefits, and prepare quotes.
• Manage follow-up communications with potential and existing policyholders.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with internal teams.
• Stay current on life insurance regulations, company offerings, and industry trends to provide clear guidance to clients.

Requirements

• Demonstrated insurance sales and sales skills, including prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing opportunities.
• Knowledge of insurance and basic finance principles to explain coverage options, premiums, and long-term benefits clearly and accurately.
• Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and timely follow-up.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Puerto Rico and manage time and tasks both on-site and from home.
• Relevant life insurance licensing or eligibility to obtain required licenses within a defined timeframe.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English; bilingual Spanish and English is highly beneficial.
• Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or consultative sales is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, finance, or related fields is a plus.
