About the role
AJC International is looking for a results-driven, dynamic and detail-oriented logistics professional for the Logistic Facilitator, Logistic Specialist role. The position handles daily interfaces between internal customers and external vendors, with interaction across AJC's functional departments, including 18 sales and operational regions, and around 20 outside vendors.

Responsibilities
- Handle schedules for main warehouses and update the system with schedule information.
- Coordinate cargo loading with operations, warehousing and transportation teams, and oversee each stage of the loading process with the warehouse.
- Communicate daily with customer service representatives at cold storages and customer service teams at dray carriers.
- Analyze daily vessel schedules and their impact on schedules.
- Work daily with transportation and operations teams on bookings, pulling empty containers, returning containers and any related costs.
- Analyze potential logistics charges and guide the operations team on how to proceed.
- Discuss discounts with external vendors.
- Work with Strategic supply on product availability and optimize scheduling to maintain high quality.
