Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Transportation and Logistics team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation operations, dispatching, or load coordination. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, monitoring loads in real time, managing transportation documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily transportation and logistics operations from load assignment through completion.Monitor shipments and transportation resources in real time to ensure timely and efficient delivery.Coordinate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, schedules, and operational requirements.Assign and coordinate available transportation resources based on operational needs.Track loads and trailers using GPS and transportation management systems.Review and validate Bills of Lading and other transportation documentation.Maintain accurate shipment, carrier, and load information in internal systems.Identify and resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and operational issues.Provide timely updates and follow up on pending transportation activities.Manage multiple shipments, systems, and priorities simultaneously.Analyze operational information to identify discrepancies and recommend appropriate solutions.Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the transportation process.Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations.Perform additional logistics and transportation duties as assigned.
Requirements
1+ year of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch, Load Coordination, or a related field.Educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.Knowledge of transportation operations, dispatching, shipment tracking, and load coordination.Experience with transportation documentation, including Bill of Lading validation.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work with multiple systems and communication platforms simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to make decisions and resolve issues in time-sensitive situations.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.English proficiency: B2–C1 (required).
