About the role
Cainiao Group is seeking a Logistics Data Analysis Lead to analyze logistics data, track service levels, and identify opportunities to improve supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and analyze the order backlog, identifying operational bottlenecks to support supply chain continuity.
- Develop and automate service level indicator tracking, evaluating delivery status against promised customer delivery times.
- Analyze and manage critical orders throughout their lifecycle, set early warning alerts for delays, and coordinate corrective actions with the operations team.
- Control in-transit and warehouse inventory by auditing pending package visibility through system data extraction and consolidation.
- Optimize and automate reporting and data extraction to reduce manual workload and improve response time measurement accuracy.
- Analyze root causes of warehouse delays and propose data-driven improvements to dispatch processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Intermediate-to-advanced conversational English proficiency.
- At least 1 year of data analysis experience; logistics experience is a plus.
- Experience in planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas. SQL and QGIS knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Mexican postal code system is a plus.
