Machine Shop ManagerLocation: Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico
Our client, a global manufacturer of high-quality electronic components, is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Manager to lead CNC machining operations at its Ciudad Juárez facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in CNC machining, programming, and team management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise machine shop operations, including supervisors, CNC programmers, technicians, machinists, and operators.Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet quality, delivery, and productivity goals.Oversee CNC machining operations involving 3-axis and 5-axis Haas and Hurco machines.Support CNC programming activities and provide technical guidance when needed.Ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with quality standards.Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to solve technical and manufacturing challenges.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and equipment efficiency
QualificationsMinimum 5 years of management experience in a CNC Machine Shop or precision machining environment.Hands-on experience with Haas and Hurco CNC machines (3-axis & 5-axis).Experience with Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining).Strong knowledge of CNC programming and CAM software.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T.Proven leadership experience managing supervisors, programmers, technicians, and machine operators.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Advanced English required.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: MXN $50,000–$65,000 per month, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.Competitive benefits package, including Major Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Savings Fund, Grocery Vouchers, and benefits above Mexican labor law.Monday–Friday schedule.Opportunity to join a stable, global manufacturing organization.
