The Machine Vision Engineer integrates and supports advanced machine vision and inspection technologies and solutions for a wide array of automated inspection applications. The role is under the supervision of the Senior Machine Vision Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Install and program vision and automation equipment at customer facilities across North America, Mexico, and potentially internationally.
• Evaluate, develop, and implement vision application solutions.
• Provide technical service and support for custom machine vision solutions, including phone support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and documenting results.
• Assist with developing solutions, including Vision Guided Robotics, using 2D and 3D machine vision technology, programming skills, and creative thinking.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with vision systems and communicate with superiors about solutions for complicated issues.
• Develop skills through formal and informal training related to machine vision, controls, robotics, and other automation systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
