The Manager, Contracts leads a team of procurement and contract attorneys to manage the full lifecycle of contract drafting, negotiation, and execution, ensuring compliant and timely agreements for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation, negotiation, execution, and amendment of contracts to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant agreements aligned with LUMA Energy’s requirements, policies, and applicable regulations.
• Support contract drafting, negotiation, execution, and applicable laws and regulations to ensure procurement and contracting activities comply with legal and organizational standards.
• Monitor and evaluate contract drafting, wording changes, and terms and conditions while supervising contract-related work in the Procurement & Contracts department.
• Ensure proper contract execution, documentation, and registration, including compliance reviews of procurement processes and filing with the Puerto Rico Office of the Comptroller.
• Manage and develop team members to build capability and improve collaboration, engagement, and productivity.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets to allocate resources effectively and meet operational targets.
• Define and monitor departmental KPIs.
