Job Title: Manager, Strategic Deployment Pod, US GeographyLocation: San Jose, Costa RicaThe TeamUS Geography enables successful execution of Firm and Business strategies in the local markets where our clients and people live and work. The Office of the US Geography Leader, working closely with the Managing Partner community, is responsible for advancing Geography as a strategic priority that drives growth and market differentiation, enhances talent experience and development, strengthens leadership engagement, and provides clarity and confidence in moments that matter in our local markets.The work you will do:The Strategic Deployment Pod Manager leads a small, high-performing team responsible for executing priority initiatives on behalf of the Office of the US Geography Leader. Focused on internal strategy activation and execution, the pod is designed to mobilize quickly, bring structure to ambiguous priorities, and drive disciplined execution across strategic efforts. The Manager translates leadership priorities into clear workstreams, coordinates delivery across markets and channels, and helps measure impact across US Geography’s four pillars: market differentiation and MDM growth, talent experience and development, leadership engagement, and moments that matter.
Responsibilities include:Lead a pod of analysts to execute high-priority, cross-functional initiatives sponsored by the Office of the US Geography Leader.Translate leadership priorities into project works plans, including workstreams, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and success measures/desired outcomes.Deploy resources against strategic initiatives, considering both initiative priority and resource capacity.Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and quality oversight to pod team members to ensure consistent delivery quality and adherence to timelines; ensure a high bar for quality, responsiveness, and follow-through across all pod activity.Ensure analytics, dashboards, and reporting support US Geography leadership priorities.Build repeatable processes, templates, and playbooks to establish standard operating procedures and drive consistency in delivery.Establish tracking mechanisms to monitor initiative progress, measure impact, and communicate outcomes to leadership.Support the Office of the US Geography Leader by preparing status updates, presentations, and executive-ready communications tied to strategic priorities.
Successful candidates should possess:Program management experience - strong organizational skills and understanding of key project management techniques; ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Exceptional executive communication skills- strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to tailor messages to a range of audiences.Critical thinking and problem-solving - ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement improvements effectively.Teamwork and collaboration – ability to work effectively across multiple geographies and with a variety of stakeholders.Adaptability – flexibility and willingness to adopt new ways of working and adjust to changing circumstances as needed.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent8+ years of professional work experienceProficient in Microsoft Office suite – strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are criticalProficient in use of Gen AI and other automation toolsExperience managing a small team or a project work streamExperience working as part of a team that is spread across multiple geographies (US, USCR, USI)Strong English and Spanish oral and written communication skillsAbility to travel as neededMust be legally authorized to work in Costa Rica without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred Qualifications:Professional services industry experience
