Master Data Management Specialist

About the role

GlobalLogic is seeking a Master Data Management Specialist to design, develop, and support master data management, product information management, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support data structures, validations, workflows, and integrations.
• Collaborate with data stewards, data domain owners, and other data engineers to analyze, design, build, and run solutions that meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Build, document, and maintain an understanding of master data dependencies across global data systems, enterprise systems, and regional business systems.
• Convert requirements into cleanly designed, maintainable solutions in a cloud-based environment.
• Achieve and maintain data compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Coordinate data sharing across the domain with other data engineers and perform other duties as needed or required.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred, or comparable job-related experience and training.
• Three to five or more years of proven, relevant work experience.
• Experience with Stibo Systems or other MDM/PIM software, such as Informatica, IBM MDM, Riversand, or EnterWorks; Stibo Systems is preferred.
• Experience building and maintaining data designs, validation rules, user interfaces, and workflows using MDM/PIM software.
• Experience with multiple database systems, such as Snowflake, Redshift, MySQL, or similar.
• Experience developing and executing data migration processes.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or another scripting language.
• Hands-on experience with data integration tools such as Matillion, Boomi, or Datastage, SQL query development and management, and cloud-based data warehouses.
• Advanced English level.
