Material Master Data Coordinator

Job Title: Material Master Data CoordinatorLocation: Colombia, RemoteEmployment Type: Contract
About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to executing accurate, timely material master data requests, partnering with functional process owners and IT, and supporting data quality and continuous improvement.
ResponsibilitiesExecute material master data creation, updates, extensions, and discontinuation across ERP and MDM systems with required reviews, approvals, and controls.Apply global and local material standards, including naming, attributes, UoM, packaging, MRP, procurement, compliance, and regulatory fields; flag gaps or exceptions for review.Perform data quality checks, support audits, document defects, assist root-cause analysis, and complete corrective actions as assigned.Support workflows and SLAs from intake through release, providing status updates and escalating risks or blockers.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.Experience working in a queue-based or ticket-driven environment.Working knowledge of material master domains and downstream impacts across planning, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and compliance.Strong attention to detail, disciplined documentation, and effective cross-functional communication.
Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting master data operations, including ticket intake, SLAs, stakeholder communication, and escalations.ERP experience, such as SAP MM/MDG, S/4HANA, or Oracle, including workflow and change control.Awareness of data governance frameworks and tooling.Experience in controlled environments with audit and traceability expectations.Analytics or automation skills, such as advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, Power Query, or scripting.
