MEAN Stack Developer (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js)
TCS is seeking a MEAN Stack Developer to join a collaborative and fast‑paced environment where technology and business come together to create meaningful impact. This role plays a key part in designing, developing, and delivering scalable web applications using modern technologies across both frontend and backend layers.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and detail‑oriented professional with strong experience in full stack development, capable of building robust applications, solving complex problems, and collaborating effectively within cross-functional, global teams in a dynamic, multi‑initiative environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).Translate business and functional requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.Build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular.Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.Design and manage MongoDB databases, including schema design and data modeling.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization across the application stack.Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application lifecycle management.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.Document technical designs, processes, and implementations.Stay updated with emerging JavaScript frameworks and continuously improve development practices.
Technical Requirements & ExpertiseProven experience as a MEAN Stack Developer or Full Stack JavaScript Developer.Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js (backend development) / Angular (frontend framework) / MongoDB (NoSQL database design and management)Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.Familiarity with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Understanding of database design, data modeling, and query optimization.Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
