About the role

Ultrix Labs LLC is seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer to support the design and delivery of modern analytics solutions. This hands-on engineering role focuses on building scalable, production-grade data and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and PySpark in a collaborative, multi-developer environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver modern analytics solutions.
• Build and support production-grade Power BI solutions.
• Develop scalable data and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and PySpark.
• Support end-to-end analytics development, CI/CD, and team-based Power BI delivery.
• Own production deliverables, communicate risks early, and resolve post-release issues.

Requirements

• Recent, hands-on experience within the last 1–2 years with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Notebooks, Data Pipelines, and/or Semantic Models.
• Power BI experience in data modeling, report development, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience using PySpark or Spark SQL for data transformation.
• Experience with large, complex datasets in distributed environments such as Fabric, Databricks, or similar.
• Experience in a multi-developer Power BI environment, including shared datasets.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in mid- to large-scale U.S. corporate environments, regulated industries, enterprise analytics teams, or large multi-developer Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, or Azure data platform projects.
• Experience with shared assets, formal pull requests, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, production support, stakeholder-facing deliverables, and structured review or release processes is preferred.
• Evidence of personally owned production deliverables, early risk communication, post-release issue resolution, and working in environments that expect quality, traceability, documentation, and accountability.
