Middleware Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Integration Engineer with expertise in Apache Camel and Software AG webMethods to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in middleware technologies, API integration, and enterprise application integration (EAI), with experience integrating cloud and on-premise applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Apache Camel and Software AG webMethods.Build, enhance, and support integration services, workflows, and APIs.Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services for enterprise applications.Design and implement integration solutions using Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).Integrate business applications such as ERP, CRM, databases, and third-party systems.Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance.Work with messaging technologies such as JMS, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to gather and implement integration requirements.Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions.Participate in deployment activities and production support.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in enterprise application integration or middleware development.Strong hands-on experience with Apache Camel.Strong experience with Software AG webMethods (Integration Server, Designer, Broker/Universal Messaging).Proficiency in Java.Experience developing REST and SOAP web services.Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, XPath, and related integration technologies.Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with API management platforms.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Exposure to DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines
