Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and MAG welding on metal components, ensuring compliance with strict quality standards and safety regulations. Apply naval painting techniques, including the uniform application of paints and coatings to protect and finish metal surfaces. Work with metalcore, flux-cored wires, and other welding materials as required by project specifications. Utilize ultrasonic testing and graphite inspection methods to verify weld integrity and detect potential defects. Collaborate closely with assembly and repair teams to meet project deadlines while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Conduct regular inspections of welds and paint finishes to ensure all outputs meet technical and quality requirements. Maintain detailed records of welding and painting activities, contributing to project transparency and traceability. What We're Looking For Required: Completed secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent). Proven experience in MIG and MAG welding and naval painting, preferably within the maritime or industrial sector. Knowledge of metalcore and flux-cored welding techniques. Familiarity with ultrasonic testing and graphite inspection procedures. Strong teamwork skills and ability to perform under pressure. Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and project demands.
