Migration Specialist

🚀 We're Hiring: Migration SpecialistAre you passionate about data quality, system implementations, and delivering successful migrations? We're looking for a Migration Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring seamless data migration for payroll implementations.What you'll doAs a Migration Specialist, you will lead end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and readiness for payroll operations. Your responsibilities will include:Defining and executing data migration strategies, including scope, mapping, and transformation.Designing, documenting, and validating data mappings between legacy and target systems.Planning and executing migration cycles, including mock loads, test loads, and final production loads.Performing data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks.Supporting SIT, UAT, and parallel testing with reliable and accurate datasets.Leading migration activities during cutover and go-live.Ensuring data traceability, auditability, and compliance throughout the migration process.Resolving data-related issues during Hypercare and post-go-live support.What we're looking forTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of data migration processes (ETL, mapping, transformation).Experience with data validation and reconciliation techniques (control totals, Power Query, checksums, before/after counts).Advanced Excel and SQL skills.Understanding of HR and Payroll data structures.Experience with SAP data migration tools is highly desirable.Knowledge of sensitive data management, including masking/anonymization, encryption in transit, and PII handling.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.Strong organizational and documentation skills.Experience4+ years of experience in data migration, data management, or related roles.Experience participating in system implementation projects.Experience working with large datasets.Payroll or HR data migration experience is a strong advantage.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.English proficiency: B2 (Intermediate-Advanced) or higher.
