Music Teacher With Emphasis on Percussion

We are looking for a talented and passionate music teacher to teach Percussionlessons in English, using the Music Fever method.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Teach music and percussion classes to students from fourth to tenth grade in English,applying the Music Fever methodology.- Prepare and teach lessons aligned to the Music Fever curriculum.- Assess students; progress and provide constructive and assertive feedback to Music Fever,school, and parents.- Assemble musical pieces with the students and present them at artistic events.- Attend staff meetings.- Collaborate with other teachers and institution staff members.
Requirements:- Advanced or native English (essential, as the entire program is taught in this language)- Graduate (or advanced student) in Music, Music Education, or related fields.- Specific training in Percussion
Experience- Previous experience in teaching percussion (desirable)- At least one year of experience working with elementary or middle school student groups(desirable)
Skills- Excellent interpersonal skills and assertive communication- Ability to work in teams and collaborate with other professionals- Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching music
Additional Information- Schedule: Monday to Friday (from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)- Location: Classes are taught at a school located in Belén, Heredia. Occasional availability totravel to the Music Fever headquarters in Heredia for meetings, training, and events.- Employment Type: On payroll- Additional Benefits: Opportunities for professional development through training andprofessional update plans.
