About the role
Island Finance is seeking a Network & Communications Administrator to operate the institution’s voice and data communications. The role supports high availability, performance, and security across branches, departmental offices, and cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Operate and optimize LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, enterprise Wi-Fi, Internet/MPLS/LTE links, VPN, IP telephony/SIP/UC, and secure connectivity with OCI and AWS.
- Support policy compliance, audit activities, and continuous improvement under ITIL practices and cybersecurity best practices.
- Manage routing and switching, including BGP/OSPF, VLAN, and QoS, as well as enterprise Wi-Fi and communications links.
- Perform operational functions for Fortinet firewalls/IPS (FortiGate), including security policies, profiles, and management and analytics platforms.
