About the role
Global Enterprise Partners is looking for a Network Engineer to join a client within the Food Processing Industry. The role provides 1st and 2nd line networking support, troubleshooting of network-related issues, and assistance with the maintenance and optimisation of enterprise network environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line networking support.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues.
- Assist with the maintenance and optimisation of enterprise network environments.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and services, including DNS, DHCP, 802.1X, TACACS+, and SMTP.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking hardware, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Knowledge of Cisco solutions such as Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, and ISE is advantageous.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and analysis tools such as SNMP and SolarWinds.
- Experience working within enterprise-scale routed and switched network environments.
- Knowledge of wireless infrastructure, including controllers and access points.
- CCNA certification required; CCNP is considered a plus.
