This firm is opening a brand-new Houston office—and this is your chance to be on the founding team. They’re a fast-growing plaintiff PI firm (60+ attorneys, rooted in CA, expanding into TX) handling serious injury matters with six- and seven-figure+ exposure. Think motor-vehicle and 18-wheeler cases, premises liability, dog bites, elder abuse, and select high-stakes matters. They’re plaintiff to the core, tech-forward (multiple AI tools live in workflow), and big enough to resource you—but not so big that you can’t shape how they do things.
Highlights:• Build from day one: Be among the first attorneys in Texas; help stand up process, culture, and results. Real path to leadership as the office scales.• Serious cases, real impact: Consistent docket of complex, high-value matters; values often in the 6–7 figure range (and higher).• Support you can feel: Dedicated case managers (3–5 per team), VAs, and in-office assistants; strong compartmentalization so you can practice at the top of your license.• Manageable dockets:o Litigation: ~35–65 matters (if ~60, you’ll have an associate).• Culture that invests: Monday breakfasts, monthly catered lunches, quarterly socials (50–75 turnout), and an end-of-year celebration.• Tech edge: Three AI platforms already embedded to speed intake, discovery, drafting, and insights.
Role:• Own high-value PI files end-to-end: pleading through trial—discovery, depos, experts, mediation/negotiation, trial prep and first/second-chair opportunities.• Lead & mentor: Run pre-lit teams (5–8 pods) and oversee medical treatment strategy.• Raise the bar: Drive strategy, craft liability/causation narratives, and collaborate “all-hands” on hot files.
Comp & structure• Base salary: $100k–$200k (flexible to $225k–$250k, and up to $300k DOE).• Commission on settlements: 5%• Benefits: Health/dental/401(k) (package enhancements underway).
Location:• Houston (Sharpstown). Predominantly on-site with some flexibility for strong candidates.
What we’re looking for• TX-licensed plaintiff PI attorney, 4–5+ years.• Trial-minded with strong depos/mediation chops; file-bind experience is a nice-to-have.• Builder’s mindset—comfortable shaping a new market presence while delivering results.
