About the role
As an NPI Quality Engineer at Molex, you will support New Product Introduction activities within the Optical Solutions business. You will work with cross-functional teams throughout product development to implement quality requirements, identify risks early, and support successful production launches.
The team drives quality throughout the product lifecycle, from concept and development through production launch, collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Support NPI projects from development through production launch.
- Participate in product development and quality planning activities.
- Drive risk assessments and quality reviews throughout the NPI process.
- Ensure quality requirements are defined and implemented during product transfers and launches.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve quality concerns.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to NPI programs.
- Track project milestones and quality deliverables to support successful launches.
- Analyze quality data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support customer and business requirements throughout product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting NPI programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality planning and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in product development and manufacturing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
