OC Senior Analyst

Purpose of the PositionExecute collection activities efficiently and effectively in accordance with company policies and procedures.Ensure that unapplied cash is identified and investigated.ResponsibilitiesCollect cash from a designated client portfolio using dedicated software/systems and resolve billing disputes fairly and in a timely manner.Manage the accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring old balances remain within established business objectives.Update the provision for bad debts, prepare debt analyses, and monitor account performance.Prepare account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.Prepare scheduled and ad hoc financial analysis reports.Comply with agreed-upon service levels, company policies, and procedures.Resolve operational issues and escalate to supervisor when needed.Analyze and release purchase orders.Create and analyze account statements.CompetenciesProficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel).Strong team player.Experience with collection processes.

Requirements2–3 years of work experience.Experience in the industry or in shared services is an added advantage
