Grate Work is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Office Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, California . This part-time position is perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced office environment and wants to contribute to the smooth daily operations of our company. Key Responsibilities Manage and organize incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence efficiently. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure availability. Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for staff members. File paperwork and maintain accurate records for easy information retrieval. Deliver excellent customer service to clients and visitors, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Support team members with various administrative tasks to promote collaboration and workflow efficiency. Participate in special projects, offering fresh ideas and insights to improve office processes. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience in administrative or customer service roles is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude. As an Office Assistant at Grate Work, you will report directly to the Office Manager and collaborate closely with administrative, marketing, and operational teams. Location: This role is based in our Los Angeles office and is not eligible for remote work. Compensation: $24,000 per year (part-time).
