OPERATIONAL RISK ANALYST (12M contract)The Operational Risk Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling key breaches of critical control points throughout the Origination, Distribution, and International Trade Lifecycle processes across multiple products and business platforms. The role focuses on domestic and international trading activities, with particular emphasis on Pre-Trade, Trade Capture, and Contract sub-cycles within the Southern Cone region.Key Responsibilities (but not limited to) Monitor, report, and support the implementation of Trade Lifecycle Control (TLC) Policy Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) across the region and platforms, identifying potential breaches in critical control points. Proactively drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and existing company resources. Provide oversight across all regions and trading desks through available front-office and control tools. Prepare and maintain TLC Monthly Dashboards and executive one-page reports for Senior Management. Support the development, implementation, and enhancement of the Trade Management System (TMS) across relevant countries, regions, and platforms. Lead the migration of applicable processes into TMS and provide timely reporting on TLC updates to the Global Head of Operational Risk and the Regional Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (RCRO). Act as the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TMS requirements and KRI analytics. Coordinate the implementation of analytics, exception reporting, and write-back functionality for KRIs across all entities and desks within scope. Optimize existing control routines and develop new control mechanisms where necessary. Investigate control breaches, conduct root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions. Build and maintain strong relationships with business and control functions across the region. Support the implementation of additional KRIs defined under the Trade Lifecycle Control Policy. Experience & Competencies Bachelor’s degree, or advanced studies in progress, in Economics, International Relations, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in trading operations is preferred Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken. Portuguese language skills are considered an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data analytics solutions.
