OperationalIT Project Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRequirements, Analysis and Design:Analyze operational challenges, workflows, and business processes to identify efficiency and performance improvement opportunitiesConduct working sessions and interviews with business partners to understand operational needs and translate them into actionable requirementsSupport business partners in defining operational objectives and developing business cases for process improvementsDesign and refine operational processes, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities, workflows, and service delivery standardsTranslate business needs into clear operational requirements and execution plansMonitor operational performance indicators, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actionsContinuously evaluate operational practices and propose improvements to increase productivity, consistency, and service qualityDevelopment, Implementation, Testing, Quality Assurance and Project Management:Manage operational projects from initiation through execution, ensuring alignment with business priorities and service standardsCoordinate project activities across operational teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of improvementsEstablish and maintain project governance, including scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverablesEnsure all project documentation, reporting, and tracking tools are updated and accurateImplement quality control measures to ensure operational consistency and adherence to defined standardsSupport validation of new or improved operational processes to ensure effectiveness and adoptionDeliver training and guidance to operational teams on new procedures and process changesSupport change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation and sustained adoptionMentor team members and promote best practices in operational execution and project deliverySKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDMinimum 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in operational environmentsStrong understanding of business operations, workflow coordination, and service delivery managementExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work across diverse teams and organizational levelsStrong organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExperience in process improvement and operational efficiency initiativesFamiliarity with requirements gathering techniques such as interviews, workshops, and workflow mappingStrong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skillsExperience in project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure within operational settingsProficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand operational environmentSelf-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionFully bilingual (English and Spanish), with excellent verbal and written communication skillsACADEMIC BACKGROUND:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields
