Job Description:Seeking a skilled Oracle DBA with Java Application Support experience to provide operational support monitoring troubleshooting and maintenance of Oracle databases and Javabased applications in production and nonproduction environments. The candidate should possess strong Oracle database administration skills along with experience supporting JavaJ2EE applications on LinuxWindows platforms Spanish speaking is mustOracle DBAMonitor and maintain Oracle 19c databases in production and nonproduction environmentsPerform routine database administration activities including user management tablespace management export-import and health checksTroubleshoot database performance issues and assist in optimization activitiesExecute backup and recovery operations using RMANMonitor Oracle Data Guard environments and resolve replication issuesSupport database patching upgrades and migration activitiesAnalyze Oracle alert logs trace files and performance reportsResolve incidents service requests and production issues within defined SLAsParticipate in root cause analysis RCA and problem management activities
Java Application SupportProvide L2 support for JavaJ2EE applications running on WebLogic Tomcat or JBossMonitor application availability performance and resource utilizationTroubleshoot application startup deployment and connectivity issuesDiagnose JDBC connection problems between applications and Oracle databasesAnalyze application and server logs to identify and resolve issuesSupport application deployments and release validation activitiesCoordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and escalationsPerform basic codelevel analysis using logs and stack tracesOperational ResponsibilitiesParticipate in 24x7 oncall and production support rotationsFollow ITIL processes for Incident Problem Change and Service Request ManagementCreate and maintain SOPs Knowledge Articles and operational documentationSupport automation and scripting initiatives using Shell Python or SQL scriptsEnsure compliance with organizational security and audit requirements
