About the role
At Infotree Global Solutions, the Packaging Engineer independently provides or directs characterization of process optimization strategies and troubleshooting of operational issues in operations, manufacturing, pilot plant or capital projects environments. The role applies advanced engineering principles to major system modifications, experiments, processes and capital projects, and presents interpretations of results for significant, complex operational issues or engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete complex or novel assignments requiring new or improved engineering techniques and procedures.
- Develop engineering policies and procedures affecting multiple organizational units.
- Supervise, coordinate and review work of engineers, associates or technicians on an ongoing or project basis.
- Apply advanced engineering techniques and knowledge of engineering principles and practices to assignments in related fields.
- Serve as a peer-recognized engineering technology specialist in at least one area, determining methodologies in that area.
- Plan and conduct projects using mature engineering knowledge.
- Develop creative technical solutions to complex problems.
- Work with research, manufacturing, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance and validation departments on requirements and recommendations for large or highly complex system and facility modifications.
- Work with project managers to complete design and engineering projects within schedule, budget and quality constraints.
- Coordinate the work of consultants and architects.
