Do you know how to deal with packaging vendors and handle packaging specifications to do quick and assertive changes? Then this job is for you. Packaging design is a must for this position.
Based on client's / business guidelines & processes, harness and manage the artwork release, approvals & transition to production. Be a key conduit for packaging product & component information to the production team. Work with Suppliers to generate packaging solutions for product transitioning and specification. Working to project deadlines, make sure the finial shipment are complete & on time.
Job Purpose:
Develop new and revised packaging from concept through final production. Prepare all related packaging technical drawings, specifications, approval sheets and engineering documentation for master control files. Perform testing and documentation.
Responsibilities:Lead, analyze and synthesize ideas from brainstorming workshops to identify ideas to meet the cost-saving global target (Share relevant ideas to other teams: MOE, Packaging CN, Sourcing, and sustaining)Collaborate with global marketing and cost-saving teams to prioritize and/or combine ideas based on customer strategy (value), potential savings and, implementation timing.Gather cross-functional information (design changes, T&W impact, investments, etc.) to share with CN marketing team for evaluation.Define and drive the concept development for products to be manufactured DR production with the (global) technical team, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and DR commercial team.Manage the CRF redaction, protocols for validations process and follow up for respective approvalsPresent new ideas, concept samples, savings estimations and key achievements of packaging cost-saving programs during SCLA meetingsPresent the report of the program updates and achievements to the customer and executive directors at the company.Lead and manage projects from start to closure within savings, standardization, and localization programs.
Requirements:Bachelor in Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering or related.2 years of experience in Packaging / Production environment; project management to delivery schedule; development of structural packaging for consumer goods, cosmetics and/or FCMG (fast moving consumer goods). Customer interface experience preferred.Familiar with packing development; working with Suppliers; Production environment.Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & familiar with TOPS (pallet & container loading software) and other related 3D software; AutoCAD and Cape Pack would be a plus.
