Join us on-site and contribute to designing and validating packaging systems that ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance. We’re looking for a detail-oriented engineer passionate about advancing medical device packaging technologies. Key Responsibilities Design and develop medical device packaging systems compliant with ISO 11607-1 & 2 standards, ensuring product sterility and integrity. Author rationales, protocols, and strategic plans for packaging changes to support regulatory submissions and internal approvals. Conduct and analyze packaging validation tests including seal strength, package integrity, aging, and distribution simulations to meet industry benchmarks. Lead cross-functional design reviews and manage sample builds to ensure alignment with quality and manufacturing requirements. Prepare comprehensive validation reports and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with FDA and ISO regulations. Implement labelling changes using Adobe InDesign, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements such as UDI, symbols, and multilingual content. Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs to verify labelling accuracy and compliance with global standards. Drive packaging and labelling projects independently, coordinating timelines and deliverables with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams. What We're Looking For Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging engineering within the medical devices industry. Strong knowledge of ISO 11607-1 & 2 packaging standards and FDA regulations. Proficiency in packaging validation testing and data analysis. Experience with Adobe InDesign for labelling design and modification. Excellent communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and document technical reports. Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Preferred: Experience with UDI implementation and global labelling regulations. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
