About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Network & Security Engineer with strong experience in Palo Alto technologies to design, manage, and secure enterprise network environments across LAN and WAN. You will act as a technical SME, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure.
ResponsibilitiesFirewall & Security Management: Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls (policies, NAT, VPNs, HA) and administer Panorama. Create and optimize security rules (app control, URL filtering, threat prevention) and manage firewall changes.Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network traffic and security events to detect issues. Troubleshoot complex network, VPN, and firewall problems, performing root cause analysis and supporting 24/7 escalations.Network Design & Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure. Support data center environments, ensure performance, and manage upgrades, patching, and migrations.Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain clear documentation and act as SME for network/security policies. Support team training and collaborate across teams.
Qualifications
6+ years in network engineering and securityStrong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and PanoramaExperience managing enterprise networks and resolving complex issuesKnowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, and OSI modelExperience with F5 (BIG-IP / BIG-IQ)Familiarity with virtualization (ESX, vSwitch)Experience with services like DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSLExcellent communication and teamwork skillsProactive and detail-oriented mindset
