Baker and Bakery Assistant in Bogotá, Colombia

SERVINUTRIR is hiring a Baker and Bakery Assistant for its production site in Suba, Bogotá. This full-time, on-site role is suited to a high-volume production bakery professional with at least two years of bakery experience.

Pay and schedule

• Base pay: 1,750,905 per month, plus transportation allowance, statutory benefits, and a non-salary bonus.
• Pay schedule: Twice monthly, on the 5th and 20th.
• Contract: Work or labor contract.
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 7:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least two years of bakery experience.
• Experience with high-volume production, preferably in a production plant.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, weigh, select, and store ingredients such as flour, water, yeast, and salt.
• Mix and knead ingredients to develop dough with the desired texture.
• Monitor fermentation times and temperatures.
• Shape bread, pastries, and other baked goods by hand or using production equipment.
• Manage oven temperatures and baking times to meet product standards.
• Decorate products with glazes, flour, seeds, or egg wash.
• Check finished products for flavor, texture, and color.
• Monitor inventory and request supplies to prevent shortages.
• Clean and maintain equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with hygiene standards.
