Part-Time AWS Azure Administrator

WORK HOURS:
15–20 hours per week - Flexible timing

ROLE SUMMARY:
Looking for a part-time AWS Cloud Administrator to manage and maintain our AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and servers. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and cost optimization.

AWS ADMINISTRATION
- Manage and Monitor EC2, 3d, RMS, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch, Lambda, CloudFront
- Configure and maintain backups, snapshots, AMIs and auto-scaling groups
- Manage security groups, NACLs, WAF and SSL certificates
- Monitor cost and usage, implement cost-saving measures
- Handle IAM policies and access control

AZURE ADMINISTRATION
- Manage Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, NSG
- Optimize and manage Azure deployment and security policies
- Configure Azure Backup and Monitor alert
- Manage cost and resource optimization

SERVER MANAGEMENT
- Administer Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Servers
- Perform regular patching, updates and benchmark checks
- Configure and manage web servers Nginx, Apache
- Manage Docker containers and applications deployments
- Set up and maintain uptime monitoring tools
- Troubleshoot server and network issues
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure and processes

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and Azure administration
- Strong knowledge of Linux server administration
- Good understanding of networking concepts VPC, VNet, DNS, VPN, Firewall
- Experience with backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices
- Experience with monitoring tools - CloudWatch, Azure monitoring
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts
- Ability to resolve critical issues within 1 hour
- Good communication and documentation

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code - Terraform
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools
- Understanding of web application deployment
