Inviting applications for the role of Payments
Payments Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing the payment processes within an organization. This role involves ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and efficiently, monitoring payment systems, and providing insights to improve payment operations. The individual should demonstrate an autonomous approach and independence in terms of comprehensive process management, responsibility for assigned tasks and problem solving.
ResponsibilitiesPayment Processing: Oversee and manage the processing of various types of payments, including electronic transfers, checks, ACH, and wire transfers.Transaction Monitoring: Monitor payment transactions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Reconciliation: Reconcile payment transactions and accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports.Data Analysis: Analyze payment data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.Reporting: Generate and analyze payment reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.Compliance: Ensure all payment activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payment operations.Performance: Achievement of all the established goals both individual as well as whole department ones according to the SLAs and/or operational metrics. Support: Demonstrate problem ownership and task coordination skills in day-to-day job. Provide support to other departments regarding payment-related inquiries and issues.Perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum QualificationsStudies in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Experience in accounts payable or a similar role.Advanced English language as requiredProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.SAP, Oracle, S2K or any other ERP Experience
Preferred Qualifications/ SkillsKnowledge of Accounting Principles: Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
