Our client, one of the most recognized and established restaurant brands in the industry, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join its team in Puerto Rico.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting the day-to-day needs of the Payroll and Human Resources departments.

What You’ll Do
Process the full payroll cycle, including regular weekly and biweekly payrolls, final pay, bonuses, car allowances, special checks, and other payroll-related payments.Review payroll information and ensure all data, calculations, deductions, and adjustments are accurate.Review timekeeping reports and coordinate with restaurant managers to identify and correct discrepancies before payroll is processed.Enter and process payroll-related documents, including corrections, leaves, ASUME orders, employee changes, terminations, direct deposits, tax deductions, new hires, and other payroll updates.Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including ASUME, direct deposit, payroll totals, vacation balances, and other reports as requested.Process employment verification requests from employees, financial institutions, government agencies, and other organizations.Make scheduling and system adjustments based on company needs.Respond to employee questions and provide accurate and timely information regarding payroll matters.Support the Human Resources Department with payroll and HR-related tasks as needed.Perform other duties related to the Payroll Department based on business needs.

What We’re Looking ForAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.At least 3 year of experience performing payroll-related functions.Previous experience using the Renova payroll system is required.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information with discretion.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable working with computer systems and office technology.Customer-service mindset and ability to assist employees professionally and confidently.Ability to work independently while also collaborating with HR, Accounting, and restaurant management teams.

ScheduleMonday–Friday | 8-hour shiftsAdditional hours or weekend work may occasionally be required based on business needs.
