Role Description The Piping Superintendent is a full-time, on-site position located in Asia, responsible for overseeing all piping activities at the construction site. This role includes planning and coordinating piping installation, supervising piping crews and subcontractors, and ensuring work is executed according to project drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Daily tasks involve monitoring progress, organizing materials and equipment, conducting inspections of piping work, and enforcing construction safety procedures. The Piping Superintendent also collaborates with project management, quality control, and safety teams to resolve technical issues, manage schedules, and support compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

Strong supervisory skills with experience leading piping teams and coordinating site activities.Hands-on expertise with pipe and piping systems, including installation, alignment, and testing.Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations, with the ability to implement and enforce safe work procedures.Experience in inspection of piping works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Background in industrial or infrastructure construction projects, preferably in oil & gas, power, or related sectors.Ability to read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometrics, and technical drawings.Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills with a focus on teamwork and productivity.Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.Familiarity with international piping codes and standards is an advantage.Willingness to work on-site in varying environmental conditions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
