Funciones

• Plan and order raw material to ensure optimal inventory and timely delivery, via the creation and releasing of purchase orders to domestic and overseas suppliers according to the production schedule, forecast and/or reorder points as well as determine priorities and expedite as needed.
• Coordinate effectively with Scheduling, Logistics and Warehouse in the follow-through of material shortages and potential production order rescheduling.
• Work with Production and Engineering as needed to update BOMs in JDE to assure proper material consumption and demand.
• Coordinate with Quality and Receiving for processing/disposition of discrepancies/faulty materials.
• Negotiate as needed with established as well as new suppliers in the pursuit of materials cost savings opportunities as well as lead time reductions.

Requisitos

• College degree or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with JDE/AS400 system preferred
• At least 80% Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Proficiency in Excel preferred
• High level of ownership
• Ability to work under pressure
• High sense of responsibility and urgency
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and properly follow through
• Immediate opening
