About the role
Capgemini is seeking a Planning Director to lead Demand & Supply Planning operations across multiple markets. The role focuses on forecasting, inventory optimization, S&OP governance, and business performance, developing planning strategies that support service, growth, and profitability objectives.
The ideal candidate has extensive Supply Chain Planning experience in complex, fast-paced environments and a track record of leading high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead Demand and Supply Planning activities across multiple markets and business units.
- Drive the S&OP process to align commercial, operational, and financial objectives.
- Develop forecasting strategies to improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
- Optimize inventory levels while maintaining targeted customer service levels.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to support business growth.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices across planning operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop planning teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Support strategic projects, business transformations, and digital planning initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Integrated Business Planning.
- Strong expertise in S&OP, forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Experience leading regional or multi-market planning organizations.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing large teams.
