YOUR ROLE

Manages all aspects of financial and accounting functions for the siteAdministers plant controllers and is accountable for the site under his/her responsibilityManages annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and the managementaccounting/reporting process.Advises management team on all financial/budgetary requirements and develops financialgoals in partnership with plant and corporate leadership.Ensures that plant goals and initiatives are developed in line with company values,strategic goals, and business plansReviews control procedures over accounting and financial activities. Provides guidance toensure that internal accounting controls are in place to protect company assets. Ensuresan adequate system of internal control is maintained, and that general ledger accounts arecorrectly stated, maintains SOX compliance.Oversees preparation of the plants financial reporting. Analyze and report manufacturingefficiency variances and determine corrective action requirements. Ensures items arecorrectly classified and all reporting is prepared in accordance with GAAP.Seek continuous improvement and use of best practices throughout the organization.Actively manages career development of direct reports, reviews performance, providescoaching and counseling as required to increase performance

YOUR BACKGROUND

Minimum of 3 years accounting and finance experience in automotive manufacturingenvironmentBachelor degree in Accounting/FinanceMaster degree preferredCPA or local equivalent preferredEnglish level advancedExcellent analytical skills; attention to detail and able to work with high degree of accuracyProficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and requirements (preferred
