Job Description:GSE Biomedical is a MedTech Studio based in Mexico that specializes in the design and development of medical devices at any stage. We have over 15 years of experience in the design, development, prototyping, testing, regulatory submission, and certified manufacturing of medical devices.
We are an ISO 13485 Certified and FDA-registered facility with full capabilities for manufacturing and clean room assembly operations for medical products that are exported into the US. We help our customers develop their technologies from a concept sketch to full-scale certified nearshoring manufacturing operations.
ResponsibilitiesContact suppliers and follow up with them.Confirm availability, pricing, lead times, and purchasing terms.Follow up on pending deliveries, services, and materials.Assist in sourcing and evaluating new suppliers.Identify supplier delays or issues in a timely manner and escalate them to the appropriate person.Follow up on scheduled work and activities.Physically verify the progress of manufacturing work and activities.Coordinate and follow up with suppliers, technicians, and plant personnel to ensure the proper execution of manufacturing line activities.Maintain effective cross-functional communication and coordination with the teams involved, including Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Design.
RequirementsAvailability in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.Interest in gaining hands-on experience in purchasing, operations, manufacturing, supplier management, and project follow-up.Industrial Engineering, Business Management Engineering student or a related field, preferably in the final semesters of their degree.Basic/intermediate proficiency in Excel.Own vehicle.

This position is on-site in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.Please note that relocation expenses are not covered by the company.
