Pre Post Sales Engineer

About the role

Hikvision Latinoamérica is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The position is an outsourcing contract.

Responsibilities

• Present, demonstrate, and promote Hikvision products, solutions, and key features to customers and business partners.
• Provide technical support and follow-up to customers, help resolve technical issues, and support customer satisfaction.
• Work with the Sales team to understand customer business and technical needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Support the Sales team through the project lifecycle, including follow-up, status management, risk identification, and development of technical solutions.
• Design and deliver technical training based on customer needs, and conduct product and technical training for distribution customers and business partners.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on product positioning and brand awareness, and gather market feedback and insights.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and Hikvision products to provide technical recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications or Network Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, with knowledge of networks, CCTV, access control, electronics, or related security technologies.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with VMS (Video Management System) software and network troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of network protocols and packet capture and analysis tools, such as Wireshark and other commonly used network diagnostic tools.
