Job PurposeThe Pricing & Revenue Analyst is responsible for modeling, monitoring, and optimizing the pricing strategy, discount structures, and profitability margins across the company’s brand portfolio. This role transforms financial, commercial, and market data into actionable Revenue Growth Management (RGM) insights to maximize net revenue and gross margin by channel and category, ensuring competitive brand positioning and cross-functional alignment among Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Trade Marketing.
Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, maintain, and update official price lists, commercial terms, and discount/rebate matrices across all brands, product categories, and distribution channels.Build sensitivity, elasticity, and scenario-planning models to forecast the financial impact of price changes on sales volume, net revenue, and gross margin.Conduct regular profitability analyses (P&L by brand, SKU, customer, and channel) to detect margin slippage, leakage, and growth opportunities.Support end-to-end product costing by validating landed costs, packaging, materials, and handling fees to ensure that pricing models reflect accurate baseline costs and protect target margins.Track and monitor suggested retail prices (MSRP), retail execution, and competitive price positioning in the market.Audit value chain economics and distributor/retailer margin structures to ensure healthy channel profitability and adherence to pricing policies.Model and assess the financial return on investment (pre- and post-promotional analysis) for commercial discounts, trade promotions, and brand activations.Provide recommendations to optimize promotional spend and eliminate unprofitable commercial mechanics.Partner with Brand Managers to provide financial modeling, business cases, and feasibility analyses for new product launches, portfolio expansions, and commercial initiatives.Collaborate proactively with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate price execution and master data consistency across ERP systems.Develop and automate periodic pricing dashboards, margin reports, and key performance indicator (KPI) trackers to support decision-making for senior GTM leadership.
Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Quantitative Marketing, or a related field.Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in pricing, revenue management, commercial finance, business intelligence, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A).Industry Background: Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), consumer goods distribution, wholesale, or retail environments is preferred.Technical Skills:Advanced MS Excel (Required): Demonstrated proficiency with advanced formulas, pivot tables, complex lookups, financial modeling, and large-scale data manipulation.
Preferred Qualifications / Nice to HaveExperience building interactive dashboards and data models in Power BI.Working knowledge of ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle, or equivalent).Hands-on experience working with commercial sell-in, sell-out (POS), and retail audit/market share data.Professional working proficiency in English (intermediate to advanced).
