We’re looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to take a leading role in designing, supporting, and evolving enterprise infrastructure and hosting services.This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving automation, driving reliability, and mentoring other engineers.
📍 Location: Guatemala City | On-Site - Zone 10 or Zone 4 💼 Engagement: Full-Time | Contractor 🧑‍💻 Level: Principal / Technical Lead🗣️ English Proficiency: B2–C1 (written and spoken)
🔧 What You’ll DoDesign, implement, and support Linux & Windows infrastructure and hosted services.Troubleshoot complex full-stack infrastructure issues, including networking, authentication, SSL, traffic, and application environments.Drive automation, configuration management, and infrastructure improvements.Support cloud infrastructure, virtualization, containers, and SaaS platforms.Participate in disaster recovery, capacity planning, security, and compliance initiatives.Lead infrastructure projects and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.Partner with Engineering and third-party providers to build reliable infrastructure solutions.Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the team.

🎯 What We’re Looking For7–10+ years of relevant infrastructure experienceStrong expertise across servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud environmentsAdvanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProven experience leading infrastructure projectsStrong communication and mentoring abilitiesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related fieldCertifications such as RHCE/RHCSA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus
