Principal Poker Platform Lead

BettingJobs is currently seeking a Poker Platform Lead for an established iGaming operator based in San José, Costa Rica. The successful candidate will help shape the poker product and take ownership of bringing that vision to life. This is a rare chance to lead a poker product at a genuine turning point.
This role would suit a poker obsessive with strong product development experience and a proven track record of delivering market-leading poker products.
Responsibilities:Shape the product vision and priorities alongside the Head of PokerOwn product intent, requirements and business decisions with development partnersWork through trade-offs and stay involved through validation, release and refinementLead cross-team discussions, reconcile competing views and build buy-inIdentify improvements to the product and to ways of working, including AI-enabled workflows and featuresUse player insight and data to challenge assumptions and guide decisionsRepresent player and business interests in release readiness, major changes and incidentsSafeguard game integrity and player security
Requirements:Deep knowledge of and passion for poker, its players, products and competitive landscapeClear understanding of what makes a great poker experience and why players choose one product over anotherStrong data fluency: able to frame questions, interpret results and translate findings into decisionsCommercial judgement across growth, retention and monetisation, balanced with player valueProven ability to influence and gain commitment without formal authorityTechnical fluency to follow discussions and understand constraints and trade-offsClear communicator who turns complex discussions into requirements and prioritiesOperator-side experience is valuable but can be developed in the role
