Process Engineer - GMP

About the role

Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer - GMP in Juncos, Puerto Rico. Under general supervision, this role characterizes process optimization strategies and troubleshoots operational issues in operations, manufacturing, pilot plant, or capital projects environments. It applies basic engineering principles to system modifications, experiments, and capital projects, and organizes, analyzes, and presents results for operational issues or engineering projects of minor scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures; assistance is given for unusual problems.
• Perform assignments with clear, specific objectives that require investigating a limited number of variables.
• Initiate and complete routine technical tasks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2 years of engineering experience.
• Work shift: 1st or 2nd.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology industry is preferred.
• Technical report writing proficiency and effective verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment, process characterization, validation, monitoring, and optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience conducting root cause investigations.
• Expertise in identifying and managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies.
• Ability to apply engineering principles to technical issues in a production environment.
• Availability to support non-standard shifts, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
