Procurement Analyst - Midtown NYC Hybrid Role

Location: Midtown New York City, NY Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) Rate: $50 - $55 per hour Duration: 6+ months contract to start with strong potential for extension or full-time conversion About the Role Yablon is partnering with a leading global investment bank to recruit a skilled Procurement Analyst for their Procurement Department. This temp-to-hire position requires expertise in contract negotiation and vendor management across Technology, Facilities, Consulting, and Training categories. Key Responsibilities Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify and understand product and service requirements. Manage client and customer relationships to enhance satisfaction, meet deadlines, and promote procurement best practices. Lead procurement activities including supplier pre-qualification, contract negotiation, preparation, and tender management. Drive sourcing engagements such as RFx processes, strategic sourcing, category management, and tactical purchasing. Develop and stabilize vendor relationships to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Proven ability to negotiate contracts effectively (mandatory). Strong professionalism and relationship management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines. Experience working independently and collaboratively within teams. Background in financial services preferred but candidates from other industries with procurement experience will be considered.
