Product Design Engineer

About the jobProduct Design Engineers are responsible for maintaining and improving released products and their associated manufacturing processes. They work closely with project managers, operations, quality, sourcing, and product managers to sustain existing products from an engineering perspective.
Product Design Engineer Responsibilities:
Design and draft engineering drawings of products using design and simulation.Developing design ideas based on customer interests, budgets, and market research.Selecting product materials and designing the product manufacturing process.Meeting with the development team to discuss product ideas.Build and test product prototypesPerform design failure mode analysis
Product Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering0-3 Years experience working as a design engineer.In-depth knowledge of Inventor or Solidworks, InventorKnowledge of Basic ElectricityAbility to read and create wiring diagrams
Experience with 3D printing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good project management skills.Creative and passionate about creating solutions to customer problemsAble to work efficiently with minimal supervisionAble to work in seated in front of a computer for long hours at a timeAble to create schematics, wiring diagrams
