Product Technical Support Specialist – HVAC Field Role in Syracuse, NY

As a key member of our team, you will provide on-site technical support, training, and troubleshooting for our dealers and contractors across Upstate New York. Represent one of the fastest-growing HVAC equipment brands and leverage our extensive product lines to help partners deliver flawless installations. What You Will Do: Provide on-site technical support including system commissioning, installation review, and troubleshooting for A-Power dealers and contractors. Conduct dealer training sessions, product demonstrations, and technical workshops to enhance field performance and brand confidence. Support warranty evaluations by identifying product or installation issues through in-person inspections and documentation. Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure technical accuracy, smooth product rollouts, and high customer satisfaction. Serve as the go-to field expert for A-Power’s HVAC systems, controls, and connected equipment. Gather real-world feedback from installers and communicate insights to engineering and product development teams. What We Are Looking For: 3 to 5 years of hands-on HVAC installation, service, or technical support experience. Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems including heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, and controls. Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach, troubleshoot, and support technical teams effectively. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Upstate New York.
